Week 6 Reading Plan

I finished reading Catching Fire. It was a great book. It is 16 points. When I take a test I will past my goal. There are only a few tributes left. Katniss,Peeta,and three other tributes teamed up to get rid of the remaining tributes. One tribute has an idea to electrocute the remaining tributes. They all begin to help with the plan.While they are performing their plan a helicopter comes and rescues Katniss and two others. Peeta and another girl is taken by the Capitol. Katniss finds out that their is a district 13, and that her district,district 12 is gone. They are on their way to district 13.

Week 6 Reading Plan

Monday: I am still reading Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. Katniss has just found out that this years games,The Quarter of the quell, will consist of all the victors who won the hunger games. Katniss and Peeta leave to go to the games.They meet the victors and prepare for the games. Katniss has made a promise to herself to let Peeta win and make sure that he's safe in the games. I am almost done with this book. I should take a test this week.

Week 5 Reading Plan

I am reading Catching Fire. Katniss and Peeta have returned from the hunger games. They are getting ready to go to each district. The President of the Capitol visits Katniss and tells her that he is upset with almost killing herself in the hunger games. The President tells her if she does not do better he will kill Gabe and her family. I like this book so far.

Week 5 Reading Plan

I finished reading When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead. When Miranda walks home everyday, there is always a homeless man standing on the corner. He is always kicking his leg out and murmuring book bag, shoe. One day Sal is walking home from school and Miranda is a few feet behind. When Sal sees Marcus he takes off running. Marcus is calling after him. Miranda begins to run after Sal. Sal runs into the street and does not see the car coming. Quickly the man on the corner pushes Sal out of the way. In the end Miranda and Sal are friends again, but they hang out with their other friends too.

Week 4 Reading Plan

Thursday:

 Iam almost done reading When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead. Miranda and Sal are walking home from school when they see a group of boys beating up another boy. One of the boys come up to Sal and punches him in his stomach and then his face. The boy runs away.  A few days later Sal tells Miranda that he doesn't want to be friends with her anymore. Miranda wonders why.

Tuesday:

I am reading When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead. Miranda's mom is getting ready to go on $20,000 pyramid on t.v. Miranda is reminiscing  about the time she first met Sal when they were babies. I like the book so far. I should be done with it this week.

Friday:
I am almost done with the book Paper Quake. Violet thinks that there is going to be a  big earthquake that will destroy the Golden Gate Bridge. She is still finding letters. She's trying to figure out who they were sent to. She is trying to find what connection she has between the letters.

Wednesday: I am still reading Paper Quake. In the middle of class there is an earthquake. When Violet and her two sisters go to help clean up her parents florists shop she sees a note addressed   to V. Violet assumes they are addressed to her, but they were written a long time ago. She finds two other letters. She is trying to find out who wrote the letters.

Week 3 Reading Plan

Monday:
I am reading Paper Quake by Kathryn Reiss.Violet is a triplet; however, she does not feel like she is one. Her two sisters Rose and Jasmine have the same hair and look exactly alike. They always do things together and always leaves Violet out. People often mistake Rose and Jasmine for twins not triplets.

Week 2: Friday

I am reading Left Behind The Kids Book 18. I need 14 more points to reach my goal.This book is written by Jerry B. Jenkins. The Young Trib Force are still hiding from the GC. Mr. Stein, Judd, and Lionel return from the meeting of Witnesses.

Week 2: Thursday

I finished reading Left Behind the Kids: Terror in the Stadium. It is written by Jerry B. Jenkins. Judd, Lionel,and Mr. Stein are still at the Meeting of Witnesses. Meanwhile Mark leaves The Young Trib Force. The Young Trib Force is still trying to hide from the GC Community.

Week 1

Tuesday: I am reading Left Behind the kids Terror in the Stadium. Taylor is planning to shoot Carpathia's jet. Judd is trying to stop him. While Carparthia is speaking he starts choking on his words. He ask for some water and when he drinks out of his water bottle the water turns to blood. Carpathia threatens to kill the believers.

Week 1

Monday: I am still reading Left Behind Kids: Terror in The Stadium. Judd,Lionel, and Mr.Stein are at the meeting of the wittnessess in Isreal. while Ben Judah is teaching Carpathia interrupts him. He is trying to convince the believers to follow him. I like this book

Week 9 Reading Plan

Monday:
Today I finished reading Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbit. I read pages 116-139. Winnie meets Jesse at midnight to go and save Mae. They reach the jail house. Mae's family breaks her out of jail. Winnie takes Mae's place in the cell. The constable comes the next day and realizes it was Winnie. He lets her go. Two years later the Tucks return to Treegap to find it has changed. The see Winnie's grave. She died two years ago. I thought this book was very good!!!!!

Tuesday:

I  am reading Left Behind the kids: Terror in the Stadium. It is by Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim LaHaye. The Young Trib Force is going to bury Felicia. Melinda is threatening to tell the GC about the Young Trib Force.

I read Left Behind : The Kids. It is by Tim LeHaye. I read pages 1-90. It introduces the characters and tells about their life.

Monday Sept. 27:

I just finished The Hunger Games. Katniss just found out that two people can win the games. They have to be from the same district. Katniss tries to find Peeta. She finds him ill. She takes care of him. They win the Games. They go home and everyone celebrates. I thought this book was very good.

Thursday Sept. 24:

I am reading The Hunger Games. I read pages 1- 210. This book is about a girl named Katniss. She lives in Panem, a place that was once called United States. Panem is broken off into twelve districts. Katniss lives in District 12. She lives with her mom and her younger sister Prim. Every year their is the Hunger Games. Where A boy and A girl from each district is chosen to fight in the games. They must kill their opponents one by one. The last person standing wins. Katniss sister is chosen ,but Katniss goes in her place. The boy selected for District 12 is Peeta. They enter the Games and begin to fight for their lives.

Turesday:

I am reading Confessions of the Sullivan Sisters by Natalie Standiford. I read pages 44-313. The Sullivan Sisters write their confessions. They give them to their grandmother on New Year's Eve. Their Grandma tells them that their little brother was the one who offended her by cutting off his tail. She includes them back into her will.

Week 6 Reading Plan

Monday Sept. 20:

I am reading Confessions of the Sullivan Sisters by Natalie Standiford. I read pages 1-43. The Sullivns grandmother is dying and on Christmas they go to her house and she tells them she is dying and that none of them will be left in her will. Someone has offended her and until they write her a letter by New Years the will none of the Sullivans will be included in the will.

I am reading The Trouble with Tulip. I read pages 132-293. Someone is trying to break into Jo's house because they are trying to spot her from going to the police. Jo finds out who murdered Edna Pratt.

Tuesday 9/14/10:
I am reading The Trouble With Tulip. I read pages 81- 131. After Jo hears the arguing she continues to jog. A car comes and stops in the middle of the road and the person is staring at her. Jo turns around and jogs back to her home. The next day Ms. Pratt is found dead in her living room.

I am reading The Trouble With Tulip by Mindy Starns Clark. I read pages 1- 85. Jo Tulip is out jogging when she hears her elderly neighbor Edna Pratt arguing with someone. She cannot see what is going on.

I am reading The Healer by Dee Henderson.I read pages 1-90. Rachel O'Mally is a trauma psychologist. A woman named Carol Isles is found dead and floating in the water. Rachel helps Carol Isles son with the trauma.

I read pages 101-168 in The Protector.Someone is starting fires when Jack is around. In one of the house the wrote murderer on the walls.Someone is trying to kill Jack.

Monday Aug 30,2010:
I am reading The Protector by Dee Henderson. I read pages 1-100.The main character is Jack.He is a firefigter.He decided he wanted to be a firefigther when there was fire at his house.He was an orphan and him and his six brothers and sisters(not biologicaly related)adopted each other and legally changed their last name to O'Malley.

Thursday
I am reading The Guardian by Dee Henderson. Marcus O'Malley is a U.S. Marshall.The President has selected the next Supreme Court Justice Carl Whitmore. Shari a person who writes speeches for people writes a speech for Carl.   On the night Whitmore is placed in office he gives a speech A killer shoots him and Shari's brother and Dad.

Friday:
Shari is at her dad's funeral and the church is blown up. They decide that it is not safe for her to be in town. So they send her to Montana. Marcus goes to visit his sisterJennifer and she tells him that she can get surgery that can help reduce her cancer.
